I can't configure the correct display of the grid

Good day, please advise a beginner what I did wrong...
I am building a site myself, made a header, a slider, below it I want to place a grid displaying teasers, so that 2 teasers show per row.
I created a new content type for this, and accordingly a new View for it. In it, I set up grid settings (2 teasers horizontally), saved everything, it displays correctly in preview (screenshot 1), but after saving and clearing cache, everything displays as before... one under another (photo 2).
Maybe I forgot to configure or missed something. Thank you for your answers, Happy Holidays!
