Question about displaying content as a list.

Good day, please advise how to solve the following problem. 
I created a slider, below it I want to display content teasers as a list (two teasers per row). I created a new content type and a new category in Views. In the settings, I chose list, set the number of teasers per row. In the preview, everything looks great. But after saving, the teasers don’t display as intended and remain one under another instead of two per row. I don’t know what to do (((.
