Installing Drupal 8

Chapter 3 of the Drupal 8 User Guide covers server requirements, additional tools, installation preparation, and running the installation script. Chapter 4 describes the next steps to take after completing the installation script.

This guide covers much of the same material. These pages offer more options than the User Guide, with somewhat less detailed instructions. When information is available in other developer guides, we link to them rather than repeating it here.
