Bundles

In Drupal 8 zijn bundles een soort container voor informatie die velddefinities of instellingen bevatten. Ze worden soms “subtypes” genoemd. Bundles zijn optioneel en bevinden zich onder entity types in de hiërarchie van informatiecontainers.

  • Entity-varianten (content en configuratie; veel entities komen in paren, zoals blokken)

                       - Entity types
                                       - Bundles of subtypes (optioneel)

Voorbeelden van deze containertypes:

  • Entity-varianten:

1) Content
           Entity content types:
             1. Node:
                  - Node-bundles, ook wel Content Types genoemd:
                      * Artikel
                      * Basispagina

             2. Taxonomy
                  - Taxonomy-bundles, ook wel Vocabularies genoemd:
                      * <Vocabulary A>
                      * <Vocabulary B>
                      * <Vocabulary Etc.>

             3. Blocks
                  - Custom Block-bundles, ook wel Block Types genoemd:
                      * <Block Type L>
                      * <Block Type M>
                      * <Block Type Etc.>

             4. User (heeft geen child-bundles)
             5. <Custom content entity type X>
             6. <Custom content entity type Y>
             7. <Custom content entity type Etc.>

2) Configuratie
            Configuratie entity types:
