Backup and Migrate Module

Hello! My website is hosted. The Backup and Migrate module was working flawlessly, always restoring the database. Then some issues arose with the server; something changed there, and as a result, the database restoration does not complete, displaying the message:         504 Gateway Time-out    nginx/1.0.15         

When I contacted support, I received the following response (verbatim): "Hello, we cannot change the settings on the server for now (this is shared hosting)."

It's clear that they brushed me off with my problems, but what can be done?
