The cart is empty

I installed an online store based on Commerce Kickstart. I added products and connected the payment system. The problem is: I select a product and add it to the cart. At the top, I see the number of items in the cart and the total cost. But when I go to the checkout page, it says "there are no products in your cart." Please help me figure this out.
