Jquery (copying to clipboard)

Could you suggest a solution?

I have two fields: one for a link and one for text. When the link is clicked, it opens the specified   link in a new window and displays the text field. How can I make it so that the text in the text field is automatically copied to the clipboard and an alert appears saying that the text has been copied to the clipboard?
