Separate display for each content type

I have a question:
How to configure the display not only of lists of content but also of the specific content itself

1) I have a content type: Articles
2) I have a view for this content type, but as I understand, it is for the list of content of the selected type, not for a specific content item 
3) Currently, when selecting a specific content item, it shows the date, author, and then the main text. I don't need the date and author – I couldn't find where to remove them, probably it's defined in the template 

Besides views output, there are also template files, so I'm confused about how to do it correctly.
