persistent errors

I'm asking a question that isn't new; I think many have encountered this error.

After searching on Google, I found it on many working sites. How can I deal with it? Or where can I read about it?

Notice: Undefined index: localized_options in function menu_navigation_links()(line 1861 in the file/home3/consumy8/public_html/consult/includes/menu.inc).
