Creating a forum on Drupal

I think you've already configured Drupal and are ready to expand it with new features. A forum is a good platform for visitors of your site to discuss important and topical issues. Perhaps you need to provide technical support to customers who have purchased your product. In any case, if you need a forum, Drupal already has a ready-made solution.
The forum module included in the Drupal core is very simple, perhaps too simple to even be considered a forum. However, based on it there is another advanced forum module. Install advanced forum and you will get the full set of features that a forum should have. Although, even this "full" set would benefit from some improvements, which I will cover in this and future lessons.
In this section, I will explain how to assemble a more or less usable forum on Drupal. Of course, Drupal is not the best forum platform, but if you need to add a forum to a Drupal site, it won't be difficult.
