A mass mailing feature needs to be implemented. I found the simplenews module (http://drupal.org/project/simplenews), but it seems to not quite fit our needs.


In general, the task is to allow the admin to send emails to all registered users.  That is, without requiring the user to subscribe to the newsletter. 
The emails, for example, will contain notifications about new page creations, announcements, congratulations, etc.

 

How is this implemented on your site??
