Gallery. I want to redesign it.

Good evening.  I would like to ask for your advice, as professionals.

I have a gallery on my website that was created by a developer with whom I currently cannot maintain contact. On the gallery page, there are 2 albums at the moment, and when I click on an album, not all the images are displayed on one page; instead, it shows a list of all the photos, and the images can only be viewed by clicking on the photo title (see screenshot below). I watched your lesson and really liked it. However, since I am completely new to all these issues, I encountered a problem: where should I start when redesigning the gallery? Should I perhaps delete the old one first and start from scratch? I have installed all the modules mentioned in your lesson, but I don't understand how to redesign the gallery now. Could you suggest a starting point?)
