Locale and GTranslate modules

22/02/2025, by Anonymous (not verified)

Hello! I wanted to create a multilingual website and installed the GTranslate module - Google Translator. As a result, the site name started to include ru, en, etc., depending on the selected language, for example, sitename/ru/novosti - and this happens for any page, any link. I'm not entirely sure that this occurred specifically after installing this module, as removing it did not change anything. And everything would be fine, but the URL synonyms stopped working - placeholder patterns (an error is displayed when loading). The error message refers to the Locale module, which is part of Drupal 7 core; after disabling it, everything worked - all links are normal and placeholder patterns function correctly. But, of course, all menus are back in English. I can manage, but it's quite inconvenient. The site is currently on Denver. The error text is in the attached file. What can you advise? Thank you. Dmitry.
